About Wordlyy
Live English games for classrooms: one projector at the front, a phone in every student’s hand.
How it started
Wordlyy began as a single HTML file. The idea was simple: show an Azerbaijani proverb, scramble the English translation into words, and see who can put it back together first. That game is still here, under its original name, Atalar Sözləri.
One file became a proper app, with teacher accounts, saved results and a QR code on the board instead of a link read out loud. Then came English Spy, a speaking game, and the Categories Game, the notebook game (Ad, Soyad) almost everyone in Azerbaijan grew up with.
Who it’s for
English teachers, mostly in Azerbaijani schools, courses and universities, and their students. The games work from A1 to B2, and every one of them can be tuned: shorter proverbs, easier words, fewer columns, more time.
How we keep the lights on
Servers cost money. To cover them, some public pages of this site (articles and guides like this one) may show ads. The screens students play on never will. We don’t sell data, and students don’t give us any to sell: read the privacy policy for the details.
